Description
Tricks is more than just a trick-taking card game. In
Tricks, each player must build his hand by buying cards from
his own deck and from his opponents' decks. But players must
spend their money wisely. They must make sure the cards they
buy are worth the cost and that they are not helping their
opponents too much by buying their cards, because money is
worth points at the end of the game.
After players have built their hands, each player must
select a card, which establishes how many tricks the player
must make and what suit he wants to be trump. The hand is then
played out. Players who make their bids exactly score the most
points. Players who don't make their bids score far less
points. Sounds easy, doesn't it? It isn't.
